G'Day to all you ishtar freaks, like me. i thought i was the only one in australia, let alone the world who thinks this movie is brilliant. i absolutely kack my pants, every time i watch the vhs copy i have. the songs, the scenes, just everything about it. i think Ishtar should be the measure of comedy brilliance. and while we are at it, the measure of what is normal. i just love it, see ya, going to watch it again now!. cheers, marcus.
